Why? Because that’s the price of personal freedom. This is counterintuitive at first because so much of our lives is dedicated to seeking comfort and avoiding suffering. And that’s how people never take action in their lives and die with regret. That’s how people can’t look at themselves in the mirror. That’s how people end up in relationships that eat them up alive. If something is bothering you, address it. We all have this sense of loneliness inside of us. Remember this: The truth will make you stronger. The seeker of truth will see everything for what it is.
